Accessibility Statement

The commitment
This website should work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard on its own, magnification, or a device with motion turned down.
What has been built in
- Semantic headings and landmarks so a screen reader can move through the page in order.
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
- Every control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text contrast checked against its real background, not assumed.
- Tap targets sized for a thumb, and body text that stays readable without zooming.
- Descriptive alternative text on photographs, and titles on embedded frames.
- Animation and scroll effects that stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Content that stays readable if JavaScript fails to load.
The target
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1, level AA, are the standard being aimed at. Testing is done with automated tools and by hand at phone, tablet and desktop widths.
Parts supplied by others
The booking calendar and the map are supplied by Booksy and Google. Their accessibility is controlled by those companies. If either one blocks you, call the shop and Aldo will book you over the phone.
